Loaded Baked Potato Dip

It’s no secret around our house that my favorite part of the Super Bowl is the food! I must say though that since being married to my sports loving husband, I’ve come to enjoy more of the game too. To help you get ready for game day, I’m going to share some yummy options that are perfect for game day or any party.

First up is Loaded Baked Potato Dip. This is a recipe that is often requested by my husband and while being incredibly simple always gets compliments when I take it to a party. This recipe has 3 simple ingredients. Yep, you read that right, only 3 ingredients. You’re Welcome. Since sour cream is the star of the show make sure you use a brand that you like. I’ve used both regular and light and the texture changes a little, but either one works fine. Now for the bacon, I have a confession, I’m not a huge bacon fan and if I’m going to eat bacon, it needs to be crispy, think just shy of burnt. Crispy bacon is best for this recipe as it adds texture to the dip. Now on to the cheese, I’m a little bit of a shredded cheese snob and most of the time I shred my own, but to make this recipe come together even quicker, you could definitely use pre-shredded cheese.

Our favorite thing to eat with this dip is kettle cooked potato chips. I’ve found that kettle chips are hearty enough that they don’t break when you try to scoop up the creamy, bacony, cheesy goodness. Now let’s talk about leftovers for a minute, IF you have any, this dip also makes the perfect topping for baked potatoes.

Leave me a comment letting me know what you favorite game day snack is!
