Happy Fall, Y’all!
October was a busy month for us! Here are some of the highlights and things I’m currently loving for fall!
{ONE}
Coming up in December I am going to be posting some of my favorite cookie recipes! So the next few weeks will consist of a lot of cookie baking and I don’t think anyone is complaining!
{TWO}
Am I the only one that didn’t know that slab pies were a thing?! They would be perfect to serve at a large holiday party. I putting these amazing looking slab pies from Sally’s Baking Addiction on my list to try!
{THREE}
I had a work dinner last month and we went to this local restaurant that is definitely winning when it comes to ambiance. They also have an amazing appetizer that I love. Sadly I didn’t get a picture of, but it’s fries covered in gravy, cheese curds, brisket and cheese sauce. Is your mouth watering yet? I had the most delicious fried chicken that was drizzled in honey. Amazing!
[FOUR}
The hubby and I carved a pumpkin last weekend and he suggested we carve my blog name into it. He’s the best!
{FIVE}
Some of these Anthropologie hacks look like they need to be in my house!
{SIX}
I picked up this appropriately named Winter candle at Bath and Body Works during a recent sale. The website says it smells like White Woods, Pine Needles, Sparkling Clementine, Spiced Clove and I have to agree!
{SEVEN}
I’ve been looking for the perfect tunic and I finally found one that I love. Now I’m just waiting for it to go on sale!
{EIGHT}
Christmas is only 50 days away! Have you started shopping? So far I’m going to be part of two Secret Santa gift exchanges and one White Elephant gift exchange and it’s still early. I love searching for the perfect gift and getting a great deal on it.
{NINE}
My brother and sister-in-law stopped by for a visit while on a road trip for their anniversary. We introduced them to a “real” cheesesteak and I think they loved it!

Did you see the new recipes I posted in October? They are all delicious, but if you haven’t tried the Salt Crusted Baby Potatoes, do your family a favor and put them on the menu.
