      Welcome back for recipe #2 of Sam’s Christmas Treats the 2017 edition! We are staying with the theme of Chocolate and Caramel that started with the  Twix cookies I posted last week.   • Twix Cookies [Chocolate and Caramel Shortbread Thumbprints]

    Tis the season for baking cookies. Lots and lots of cookies.   It’s time for Sam’s Christmas Treats year two! I am very excited about the recipes I have to share with you this year. Today is recipe #1 and it’s inspired by one of our favorite candy bars. These cookies start with a soft and buttery shortbread cookie that has a puddle of creamy caramel and is topped with milk chocolate.     The cookie is made from six ingredients that should already be in your kitchen.
