I don't think I would be exaggerating to say that this Marshmallow Buttercream Frosting might be my new favorite frosting. It has a dreamy consistency and tastes exactly like a marshmallow!
In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat butter and marshmallow cream on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
With the mixer on low, gradually add in powdered sugar, vanilla, salt. Add heavy cream (1 tablespoon at a time) and whip until frosting is smooth and fluffy.
Notes
If you use unsalted butter, do not skip the pinch of salt, it makes all of the difference.
